Former Senator Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. has tested positive for coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). The son of the late dictator Ferdinand Marcos received his result from the Research Institute of Tropical Medicine on March 28. His spokesman said he was getting better while being treated at an isolation area.
Victor Rodriguez said.
Quoting Marcos, Rodriguez said the former senator arrived in the country from Europe on March 13.
Marcos went to a hospital on March 14 to have himself checked after he felt difficulty breathing. He, however, went home because there were too many patients awaiting treatment.
He went back to the hospital on March 22 for the same symptom and was tested for COVID-19.
-JST/NB, GMA News
